Art Workshops for Adults: Yaacov Agam Inspired 3-D Plexiglas Outdoor Hanging Sculpture In-Person
Kick off summer with a gorgeous outdoor hanging sculpture! Inspired by the Israeli artist Yaacov Agam, create your own colorful Plexiglas piece of 3-D art. In this fun workshop, Jane Alkon will show you how to create your unique piece from professional materials that will be suitable for an indoor or outdoor location. When finished, display your beautiful one-of-a-kind piece for the world to enjoy!

Enjoy a wonderful afternoon of art and creativity as Jane helps you to create something beautiful and unique for your home! You are guaranteed to create a professional looking, fabulous, functional art piece you will be proud to call your own!
Workshops will meet in the Knox Room of the Huntington Woods Library. The workshops are open to Adult Residents * in Huntington Woods and Pleasant Ridge. All workshops are free of charge and include all of the supplies necessary to complete the projects. Registration is required and closes the Tuesday prior to the Saturday workshop day. These workshops fill quickly and are limited to 10 participants.
*You must be over 21 to participate in these workshops.

Unaccompanied Adults
During children’s programs parts of the Library are reserved for children, their parents or responsible adult caregivers. No adult (with the exception of staff and City personnel) may register to attend a children’s program, or be admitted to a children’s program, unless accompanied by a child. Out of concern for the safety of young patrons, adults who are unaccompanied by a child or children in the children’s program area may be questioned by staff, and may be asked to leave the area.
