Tween & Teen Parenting Series: "How Was Your Day? Fine." Is Not Enough...
These sessions are expected to fill quickly; reserve your seat through the Huntington Woods Library events calendar. This is a collaborative effort between the Huntington Woods Library, the Tri-Community Coalition and the Huntington Woods and Berkley Public Safety Departments.
Do you have a child moving from elementary to middle school? Beyond lockers and schedules, things like personal safety, social media, and access to drugs and alcohol should be on your radar. It's easy to fall into the "not my kid" trap but we don't know what we don't know. Join us for a quick seminar on adjusting to life with a middle-schooler.

During children’s programs parts of the Library are reserved for children, their parents or responsible adult caregivers. No adult (with the exception of staff and City personnel) may register to attend a children’s program, or be admitted to a children’s program, unless accompanied by a child. Out of concern for the safety of young patrons, adults who are unaccompanied by a child or children in the children’s program area may be questioned by staff, and may be asked to leave the area.
