Summer Sensory Time In-Person

Babies, toddlers and preschoolers can explore their surroundings and stimulate their five senses in this outdoor program series. Designed to spark little ones' curiosity through play and creativity, Summer Sensory Time is a half-hour filled with crafts, games, stories, and activities that engage the senses.These programs will be held on the lawn in front of the Gillham Recreation Center. In bad weather, we will use the Children's Room in the library. Registration is recommended, but not required. Drop-ins are welcome!

Unaccompanied Adults

During children’s programs parts of the Library are reserved for children, their parents or responsible adult caregivers. No adult (with the exception of staff and City personnel) may register to attend a children’s program, or be admitted to a children’s program, unless accompanied by a child. Out of concern for the safety of young patrons, adults who are unaccompanied by a child or children in the children’s program area may be questioned by staff, and may be asked to leave the area.
